    So after you install bf2 and patch it, do you just download the project reality patch then you can play on regular servers or different servers or what?

    After you install (steps below) you lunch Project Reality using its desktop icon (you can place it anywhere you like). Although the game runs under the BF2 engine, its completely different in many terms and so when in-game you join servers that are visible in PR's server list.

    You don't need to install any expansion packs, but the steps are there if you need them. By-the-way if you’re running under Windows Vista you'll need to right-click on the PR icon, go to properties, and under compatibility tab checkmark “Run this program as an Administrator”.

    If i download and install can i still play regular bf2? It was a real pain to get my expansions to work after last install.
