Well, now its being remade with the classic style, but with use of the Wii nunchucks and Wii Balance Board.

    Now this

For those that haven't played on it yet, go get the NES version and try it out... I even have in on my old Palm Treo. :)

P.S. I wish someone would get the drivers for the Wii-mote to be good enough to use the controller for the emu of Punch-Out. ;)

Getting ready to sell my Wii this Christmas if it looks like there is a shortage. I'm just not feeling the value in the several hundred dollars I've invested in it. Thankfully they are holding (and possibly increasing) their value.

Oh man I LOVE that game! I've played it probably 10+ times through on SNES.

I don't have a Wii... but I have friends that do! I can't imagine it's going to be easy using the Wii remote though... I tried playing Medal of Honor with that thing... I hate it. Mouse and keyboard for me please.

Ducking and weaving with a remote will look funny though :D

Oh nah, i sold it for a reason lol. It's just not fun playing alone, so i rather play a little bit of it at a friend's house rather than pay my own money for games and not even play it at all (as i did with zelda, rayman, medal of honors, redsteel etc.) I had it since the first day, worked fine. After that, i was buying wii's from gamestops early and then selling them back to people on craigslist (because of shortages). Made a couple hundred bucks buying and reselling wii/wii fit. I stopped and don't know if the demand is still high, but i see they are still sold out in some stores i usually go to (wal-mart lol). Gives me a good idea to buy and sell them during christmas though.

Would be simpler than medal of honor. I had Medal of Honor Heroes 2... sucked. If you ever played wii boxing, then that would give you a clue. No need to point, just swing away, and to duck/weave is on the wii fit board... well yeah. Pretty fun interactiveness

I am total hyped for this game! I only managed to beat Tyson once, didn't play the re-release with Mr. Dream (or whatever his name was) and played Super Punch Out!! to death!

    I can't wait!

The wiiimote is very sensitive and functional, the nunchuck however is not even close. I wonder how well they were able to integrate the nunchuk with this game, because the other games so far cant use it too well when your using the motion controls.

@ Gophin using glovepie you can make the wiimote/nunchuck/classic controller/balance board all of that do what you want.

So I guess all you would want is a script so that when balance > XXX to a certain side it would push the key for that direction.

So your dream of using it for an emulator is already true :p just it wont be nearly as effective as the real remade version of it I am sure.

    LOL.

I think that might be an option for the remake of:

    Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for Wii. ;)

Suprisingly most people have referred to Super Punch-Out on the SNES. For me it was all about Punch Out on the NES!

Makes me feel old now lol, and i'm only just 22!

For me it was about the arcade Punch-Out! More quarters there than most any other arcade game.
