I'm surprised there are no threads about this game.
Some info about the game beforehand.

Pure is a off-road, trick-racing video game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows published by Disney Interactive Studios and developed by Black Rock Studio.

    Information : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pure_(video_game)
Most of the scores vary between 8/10 to 9.5/10
    Offical preview : http://www.gamecyte.com/preview-hands-on-trick-based-racer-pure

    Minimum system requirements

    • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
    • DirectX: 9.0c
    • Keyboard
    • DVD Rom Drive (8X)

    Conclusion.

Overall it's a racing game with ATV's where you can pull diffrent stunts while you're on air to earn boost. The visuals are extremley good looking, and not to mention theres 16-man online racing.

When you start World Tour, then you're gonna build your own ATV from scratch, earning diffrent parts and such when winning races. Total there are 3 diffrent types of races - Normal racing / Stunt racing and Freestyle racing.

    I'd give it 9/10.

Because the visuals look really nice and the requirements aren't that high. Online gaming is great and so is the overall system. Would recommend to anyone who likes racing games, it's a bit diffrent, sure - but it's great!

Very cool, I played the Beta for this one at Leipzig, on the PS3. Very fun game, great visuals, glad to see someone put it thru its paces on a midrange card!

I was amazed myself, when I walked in to store I saw it on the "New Games" section and for really cheap price (20€ ;) so I bought it.

It's very well optimized, since it was originally only for PS3 / X360, the PC port was developed later and running it maxed on 8600M GT is more than I had hoped.

love the art design. it looks like they took pictures of real places and used them to draw the games scenery.

Any comment on the loading times? I was thinking of picking this up but some Gamespot users had huge complaints about loading times.

Disney PUBLISHED the game, Black Studios created it.

The loading times are longer than usually games have, so yeah that's the only minus so far.
Screenshots are actually rather blurry .. not sure why. It looks so much better in-game. :p

Black Rock Studios, the ones who created this game, were formerly known as Climax Racing...they created the ATV Offroad Fury games for the PS2.

    Disney published it.

Most unrealistic game I've played in a while. Gameplay is extremely childish and plays nothing like real ATVs. Makes sense that Disney made it. Textures are flat and cardboard looking, shader model feels a bit old.

    Graphics: 6/10
    Gameplay: 3/10
    Originality: 4:10

No thank you for me. Tried the demo on the PS3 and would never buy.

I was just thinking that this looked like just a next-gen version of ATV OF.

I don't think I'll be getting it then, I got bored of it already on the PS2.

Loading times is only a problem in Vista. XP it loads faster.

I read on gamefaqs that people with XP also had loading problems. I myself have vista and the loading times are rather long (it'd reach 1-2 minutes sometimes). Despite the loading time woes the game runs very smoothly and surprisingly well on my 8600M GS. I run it at 1024 x 600 and all the settings are maxed.

Okay, I have M1730 (8800 GTX SLI) and drivers are totally off in the game.
So, funny to ask, but which video drivers will suite perfectly for such fastidious game after which I will witness them drivers on their appropriate ATV seats?
