    Thank you 100 times for the link! I never tried out Qarl, because I just don't know how to install. I will try a little more this time.

    Edit: Oh my... this looks incredible!. I hope it is not very demanding.

    I have used Qarls texture pack, you definitely will see the difference in texture quality, however, if you have something less than a 256-bit memory interface GPU with less than 256mb DDR3, it will take a HUGE PERFORMANCE LOSS.

    I have a 7800 GTX and lost about 4-10 FPS using these kinds of hi-res texture packs.

    it's a big hit on the system though.

    Here's one.

    It's hard to tell, but it looks better than the regular graphics. Town are pretty good. Rock are more... rocky. Better textures and stuff. Very nice. It looks more "real" to me.

    1.7GB? I should hope the textures somehow make Oblivion less of the 'talk to A, get item from B, kill some monsters at C, pointlessly level up because everything else levels up too' suckfest that it currently is.
