In my dwindling research for a first laptop, I have narrowed my choices down to Dell's E1505(With ATI X1400 256Mb), or Dell's Latitude D620(NVidia Quadro 110m). My only worry is the graphics processor. I don't plan on using the laptop for many games, mostly for watching DVD's, DVD burning, SOAP charting for my client's medical records, browsing internet, and for mp3's, but I will game some. The strongest games I plan on playing on the laptop are Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, World of Warcraft, Dungeon Siege 1(and maybe 2), and diablo 2. I know the even the lowly integrated graphics on intel 950 will run all these games except Vampire. I'm guessing the x1400 on the E1505 is probably a better card than the Quadro, but I just love the other little features the D620 offers, like a fingerprint reader and better looks, etc. I guess I'm just wondering if the D620's Quadro 110m video card will be good enough to run this vampire game(which rocks)...If it won't run the Vampire game, I'm probably not getting the D620...This is what the game box says:

The requirements for Vampire for video are: 3D hardware accelerator card-100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 64 MB video card and drivers. Supported chipsets for XP, All ATI Radeon chipsets, All NVIDIA Geforce Chipsets, Maxtrox Parhelia Chipsets. Important note: Some 3D accelerator cards with the chipset listed here may not be compatible with the 3D accelerator features utilized by Vampire. Please refer to your hardware manufacturer for 100% DirectX 9.0c compatibility. This product does not support Windows 95 or NT...

I don't plan on running Windows Vista anytime soon. I just like XP too much to switch over yet, if that has any bearing on the video card decision...Thanks!

I just looked at someone's review on the D620 at http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=150745

and he mentioned that he was able to run Half Life 2. The Vampire game came out just a few months I believe before Half-life 2 did. If this is the case, I'm guessing right now that the odds are good of running the game...
