I read the thread lower down about the 110M and 120M for gaming. I'm in the exact same situation as Yamla (Precision M65, right?). I've given some thought to the M90 with a Quadro 1500M, but I want at least the same gaming power as a Mobility Radeon x1600 or better. Where does the 1500M fall on the mobile gpu charts, or is it just not appropriate since I'm not doing any workstation utilities?

Actually, I was looking at the Latitude 820. Thanks for pointing out another possibility.
I'm not sure about the answers to your questions, though. -
The following link has a bit more information:

I can't vouch for the accuracy, mind you. -
I think the 1500M is clocked something like 310Mhz core and 1000Mhz memory.
Find nvidia cards that have clocks like that and you get an understanding how
it performs.
The 2500M is clocked 430Mhz core and 1200Mhz memory. The desktop 7800gtx
256Mb has the same clocks, so their performace should be similar. The 2500M
is a really powerful mobile processor. The go 7900 might be clocked a bit higher
which makes it a really killer card.
Quadro 1500M for gaming and video?
