The Nvidia Quadro 2000M (55 watt power consumption) is known well w/ the Thinkpad W520 (the W520 ran for ~7 hours on battery w/ a quad core and the 2000M) can play Starcraft 2. More information can be found here.

It appears to be around the GTX 460M in terms of benchmarks but I would expect slightly worse gaming performance from the 2000M since it is optimized for CAD. And every GPU gets hot. ;) The bigger the rated TDP, the more heat it creates.

When you go the the link I put in my previous post, you can compare the fps of each game w/ other graphics card (note that the 2000M has 6.9 in the Windows Experience Index and it can handle engineering applications easily).

Actually it should be around 20% weaker than the 460M because it uses 128-bit GDDR3 VRAM, not 192-bit GDDR5 seen in most 460M's.

The gaming performance is a little less than the Gt555m according to Notebookcheck gaming list.

Well it is still not as strong as GDDR 5 in either regard.
