    No, it's a flying rocket.
I read on a side that it was supposed to be released in January, not February. That card will probably cost 1500$.

No its a quadro workstation card. It'll be released in the 8710w first. I'm pretty sure it'll do fine with games, my 1600m runs most games perfectly fine. Wonder if the 2600m will be dropped.. or when this card will be made for the m6300.

the best quadro desktop runs games about as well as mid range-highrange geforce7..

not for gaming. This is the kind of card you get when your profession pays for your hardware.. not your hobbies.

With hacked drivers, IT IS for games.

You would be better off, value wise, with the equivalent piece of hardware.

Yes, you are right. It is not for games, as the price clearly states it's a more OpenGL based 8800M.

It's based on the 88M GTX, but more optimised for CAD based applications and OpenGl. Thus justifying the price for corporate goons, not for gamers.

I read it would cost around 1500$, which would make it as expensive as a decently fast laptop. It's not worth it at all (except for those that do CAD, need the best OpenGL performance and have the financial resources). I might consider it for university (if the price will be appropriate).

    Hi guys,

I've just got a warranty replacement of a Dell Precision M6300 with an NVIDIA Quadro 3600M with 512 Mb Video RAM.

    3dmark06 is 7799, looks to be a little faster than a 8800GTS.

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Shimza
