    Quadro 570M to Geforce 8600GT?? Is it Possible??

    I heard its possible to convert a geforce series to Quadro, but I havent found much luck on the converse.

    So to reiterate what the title said, is it even possible to convert the quadro into a geforce, and if so, how?

    Just use geforce drivers for the quadro cards.
    THe quadro cards are just the geforce cards with more capabilities such as opengl and better 3d rendering. But its not possible to go from geforce to quadro since quadro is the geforce with more capabilites.

    There used to be a modded bios that made Quadro cards into Geforece cards. I think something was also available to make older Radeon cards into Fire GL cards. I have not seen this for the new cards but someone might be working on it already. It takes a bios upgrade only since the hardware is the same.

    So let me get this straight, when I am installing new drivers, just get 8600m GT Drivers instead? It wont have an error message?

    you cannot go from geforce to quadro, but can go from quadro to geforce to my understanding.

    There are no "8600M-GT" drivers. There are only "GeForce drivers". Drivers are not made for one specific card . . . Nvidia's current drivers will work with all of their respective hardware over the past few years.
