    Hi there.
I'm lurking this forum from time to time, searching for info but this time i really need to post a question.

I've a Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 with Nvidia go 7900 gs.
Unfortunatly the videocard is broken, and dell is out of spare parts for my laptop, so they offered my a brand new pc for my old dell (it has 2 years).

They first offered the new inspiron, but it lacked certain features i need such a dvi output, then they offered a precision m6300 with the quadro fx 1600M.

I've checked the benchmark of the fx 1600m for gaming and they seems acceptable.

Today the pc is arrived, i've updated the drivers of the quadro from the dell site but the benchmark aren't confortable. I've scored about 20% less than my old insprion 9400/1705.

What i'm doing wrong? I need peculiar drivers? Can anybody help me?

    Thanks in advance,
    Andrea

You need better drivrers. Your FX1600M=8700M GT, which should be a tad better than a 7900GS at lower resolutions, but at higher resolutions it will be crippled due to the 128bit bus.
Try laptopvideo2go.com drivers , or modd them to see your card as a geforce.
