I am guessing that these 2 GPU's should be pretty equal in running games, benching scores, etc. as they both have 128 shaders, though I guess the GTX 280m being newer and manufactured on a smaller die, should run a little cooler. Let me know what you all think.God Bless

so whats the point of this thread.
Maybe you can add that the Quadro 3700M is still the preferable pro videocard for those that are working with 3D modeling/editing/rendering... in OpenGL environments.

1) Higher stock clock frequencies in the GTX 280M
2) Quadro drivers are not optimized for games, although it can play games quite well.
Interesting note, with what has been done so far in terms of flashing, I think it's possible to flash a GTX 280M bios with an FX3700M and vice versa -
