    Hi everybody,

I am about to purchase a Voodoo Envy H201, and I am going to put in 2 Graphics cards. i need help deciding on which of the two i should get though.

I play a lot of games, planning on getting bioshock, crysis, supreme comander, sins of a solar empire, gears of war, etc. And I was wondering if i should get two Quadro FX Go 2500M cards, one Quadro FX Go 2500M and one GeForce Go 7950 , or just two GeForce Go 7950 cards.

I know the quadros used to have problems with AA, so I really dont know what to get.

    Any help would be great.

First of all I think you should rethink your options before you invest $7000 on a notebook that you can get for $4000 max somewhere else without the fancy colors.

The best place is Eurocom, and I think Exoticpc allows you to custom color it. These 2 are probably the cheapest places you can get that same notebook for as for the Graphics card buy the cheapest then send it to Eurocom to be upgraded to the New 8800GTX that is going to come out soon. And if you want to buy a good gaming laptop and have the funds to pay it that notebook is not the greatest if you downgrade you screen to a 17" you can get the Eurocom Phantom X it can be confg with dual 8800GTXs and you can get it with a quadcore processor I think you would be much better buying that instead.

Why in the world would you buy a VoodooPC system which is WAAAAAY OVERPRICED ? Have you heard about SAGER ? they have the best laptops in the world and the best prices for them.
Forget about voodoo, buy the Sager 9261 with 2 geforce 7950GTX cards, that should give you all the power you need!
To have SLI, you have to have identical cards!

I know doesn't Rahul Sood know that his machines are outdated Ugly with weird colors and really really really overpriced come on just with the money you save from buying a Eurocom you can get all bunch of OLPC and send them to poor countries or you can donate it.

I was buying Voodoo for the name, and because i had never heard of the other two, being Eurocome and Sager. Also, the colors look awesome.

If I can get a quad core processor and 2 excellent graphics cards, then ill be happy. Thanks for the help eleron911 and Wierd Al. I still dont know which Video Card I should get though. Im assuming I can only upgrade the GeForce Go 7950?

The Sager 9261, once released with the 8800M GTX will become AGAIN the fastest notebook on the gaming market. 4 CPUs(desktop processors!!!!),3 HDDs(for a loooooot of storage), 2 GPUs, 4 gb of ddr2 800 MHZ and many more.

No way... the m17x will have 8800gtx sli... im not too sure about 9261

But I am definitaly sure that the m17x is not going to be around the 2.35 inches like the D901c beast...

And I am pretty sure they are planning on making it quad core compatible when the processors come out.

    m17x has 3 HDDs too

Well see once the benchmarks come out...

Anyone hear the the m15x and m17x will have hot swap bays for HDD's ? Well I read that you can add battery to your lappie by utilizing these bays... that is fantastic imo
