Nvidia Quadro FX Go 1400 PCI-Express 16X Graphics with 256MB DDR3 Video Memory

    VS

512MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX

And can anyone please tell me which one of these graphics cards will run games better?

    (2)
How much better is the 512 MB, listed above, than the 256 MB DDR3?

    Thanks in advance.

Well, the quadro is a rendering card and is not for gaming. It can game but there might be conflicts and stuff like that.

The Geforce on the other hand is meant for gaming and will perform much better than any quadro card.

Its not the amount of RAM on the cards that make them great, its the microarchitecture.

So the 512 MB 7900GTX will run about the same as the 256 MB 7900GTX?

most games are not able to utilize more than 256 mb, so most likely they will run very similarly.

It'll run slightly better, but 512mb is more of a luxery in this day and age.
