I'm installing the quadro FX 2500m in my Inspiron 9400 (my 7900GS fried) and I found a good deal on one on Ebay. Anyone know if I need to go to a 130 watt Powersupply, or with the 90 work fine? If I do need the 130 does anyone know which model will work? Thanks.

I think you will have to go with a 120 watt supply, at least. I'm not entirely sure of the model numbers myself, but the adapter that is sold with the M90, which has the Quadro FX 2500M installed, should be fine.

Will anything bad happen if I run the computer for a while with the 90watt adapter?

If the notebook does anything graphically intensive, the power requirement may become to high, and you may have power issues. This could include the notebook turning off suddenly, or damage to the adapter or notebook. Its much safer to go with a higher rated adapter.

Thanks for the response I'll look for a new powersupply.
