    I'm wondering how the quadro stacks up against the 8600M, because I'm either going to buy the dell vostro 1500 or the dell latitude D830. If the quadro is worse, is it still a viable card for playing games on relatively high settings? thanks in advance

    I believe the quadro sits between 8400M GS and 8400M GT. The 8600M GT i quite a bit faster
