    Quake 4 hates me

    Hey,

    Got Quake 4 on my G1, stock drivers from ASUS and work fine with every other game. Running Windows XP PRO SP2

    Game is set to max rez and detail and such. Problem is when I try a game online i get the always fun Quake 4 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Then I have to restart quake with same result each time, any ideas guys?

    Oh, also it is running latest patch available for the game.

    Have you searched quake forums ? There might be something wrong with your network driver or DirectPlay or your installation.

    Use patch 1.3, or one of the earlier 1.4...
