System requirements. Straight crazy. I'm glad I bought a laptop with a 980m in it rather than a 970m. Still not gonna be able to max it out, but maybe I'll get med/high mix.

That game is made beautifully but I'm afraid things will get repetitive with the gameplay, story looks like It has potential.
And the Win10 DX12 excl is too much....

Well ROTTR isn't bad. Sure few intensive areas can bring a PC down to its knees, but overall people are saying it's a good port. Let's not forget that it looks great.
Maybe I should look at some of those QB screenshots, see how it compares to ROTTR.

Also, is that the guy (main protagonist) from The Following. Glad to see he survived! He was probably one of the few who actually made it to the end :D.

I can tell they leak MS's butt just by looking at System requirements: even 2.6GHz intel quad core would be enough if they had used DX12 for real, not for money.
Otherwise where is that advantage of DX12 redmond claimed?

Yeah, and to think, DirectX 12 was supposed to keep GPU requirements low.

People would have probably actually bought into Win 10 if the system requirements were less than that of Win 7 or 8.1.

That's what's bothering me. The whole point of dx12 was to make better use of resources. Yet here comes the most resource demanding game yet (going by their recommendations) for no good reason . It's like we're expected to be happy it's DX12 for the sake of it.
For a dx12 flagship game and showpiece of why we should all be embracing W10, Microsoft should be trying to get it running on a calculator .

Well, it's gonna cost the same, pay for the one you don't use and play the free one.

Maybe you can make back the cost by selling the XBone version?

Knowing MS you will need to register the XBone version to get the PC download, and then they won't let you sell it / transfer ownership of one without the other

If you get the game from Amazon, Prime members get it for 47.99 (discount applied in the cart).

I'm still not sold on pre-ordering a game but traditionally Remedy has been fairly solid and with having both the Xbox One and PC copies, if one sucks I can just use the other.

Microsoft is making a big push for Windows Store in 10 so it makes sense.

If preorder sales are low they will update it again featuring Windows 7 as supported OS... as minimum requirement, of course, they took Skynet's money afterall.
P.S. I can say that I will never buy this game for more than a bucks.

Still too high for a DirectX 12 game. If they said 970 recommended for 4k/30 minimum then color me impressed.

So what happens when Windows Store goes the way of GFWL? Gah. I hate all these segmented clients: Steam, Origin, Uplay, Battle.net, Microsoft Store.

so an i7-4700MQ meets the recommended spec requirements for the CPU if you go by the average passmark score.

the 980M meets the minimum but could push the recommended settings if i drop to 30fps.

it should be playable on my laptop :D

I don't know. Does anyone buy anything from Windows Store? I hate the native Windows 8+ interface with a passion, and there's absolutely nothing of value on Windows Store that I can't get elsewhere.

I actually had to buy an application. First time I did so. Never bought anything on Google Market or BlackBerry World, but had to on Windows.
Probably for desktops use Windows Store is of little necessity, but for tablets it's more useful.

Hopefully nVidia releases a working SLI profile for this one or we see some of this magic multi GPU scaling we were promised in DX12 but the system requirements for Ultra are absolutely insane. My system would be able to run Ultra if SLI support is there although a CPU repaste may be in order first if I'm going to run my 4940MX at 4GHz for an extended period of time. The Division really hammered it, mid 80s the whole time.

Alan wake is alright. I played and enjoyed it back in 360 and also have it on PC. The deal is pretty good if you don't have any of the remedy games.

I want to try quantum break but I will wait a while to get it. I have so many games right now haha :)

Is it "safe" nowadays to upgrade to Win10? Considering bricked screens and whatnot. I'm on a Clevo P771ZM win8.1.
