I'm running fallout 3 on my inspiron 1520, 512mb 8600m, 2.2ghz processor and 2gbs of ram on about medwith max draw distance. Whenever I turn on HDR it looks a lot better and only sacrifices about 5 fps. However whenever it's on sometimes the game just randomly slows down, even in areas that were previously fine. Restarting the game fixes it, but it happens in random areas at random times and it's really annoying. Also getting minor graphical glitches with it on. Nothing's overclocked on my laptop, anyone else having these problems?

probably because the 8 series generically overheats then lowers the clocks to compensate.

Don't think that's it, I could run crysis on med for hours in the same place, and it just slows down randomly, sometimes after minutes sometimes after hours
