    Do you need to download all the patches one by one and install? or just the latest one? I am assuming the latest patch will also include the coding from the older patches along with the newer changes as well? (Far Cry 2)

    It depends on which game. Some have incremental patches which you need to install one by 1 but most after a few incremental patches will release a patch containing all previous patches.

    if a game is like that it won't let you install a newer patch unless you have installed an older one right?
