My HP dv2000t that I bought in sept 06 died a couple days ago, with the long beep and 2 short beeps indicating the video card. It has a 7200 Go which is a piece of crap, i wish I could at least play counterstrike source on it at lowest settings. I emailed HP and they're going to repair it free despite it being out of warranty.

For those of you got your laptops repaired due to a faulty geforce 7200 go, did you get back a better video card in your laptop than when you sent it in or is there no chance in an upgrade?

No the same video card, which in my case is the Go 7600. Your parts will be available till 2009,that is 3 years from the model's release.
