Question on returning Rainbow Six vegas to best buy

Im sure you guys can feel my pain bc im sure its happened to you b4. ya know buying a game that blows.

So i went ahead and bought Rainbow Six Vegas the other day (not knowing how bad it sucks) and i installed/played it. Needleess to say it plays "OK" at native res on my rig but the game just is not that fun and i really regret paying for it. I know i cant return it to best buy for a store credit of for another pc game (stalker/Riddick butchers bay)

Anything i can do? How about taking it back for a new copy of it and then not opening it and then going to a new best buy and returning it? Dont you think they will see in the system that ive returned it before though?

yeah i'm pretty sure they have a system to keep track of that kind of thing, so you're probably out of luck.

 

If I recall, opened software(including games) can't be refunded, but returned, yes.

However, I don't know the process, if they require a receipt and 'mark' the receipt so you can't refund it when its brand new.

Take it back and recieve new copy

Go to different best buy with noi reciept and tell them it was a gift and i would like to exchange for a diff game

 

just sell the new copy on ebay or to a friend

 

If i can return it for another game whats a great FPS
