I was wondering of those of you that have GO 6800, 6800 ultra, 7800, and 7800GTX have HDMI ports on your notebook. If you do how well does it come out on a HDTV?

I have a 6800Go...there isn't an HDMI port. There is a DVI-D port. They make a cable to go to DVI-D to HDMI though.

I don't belive HDMI is available just yet. I was reading about a Toshiba that will be coming out with it soon.

The phantom dell...which is an experimental 19" laptop has it in the debut. But for the most part DVI-D to HDMI is just as good.

I have a DVI-D port on my laptop, if that's what you meant. I have hooked it up occasionally to my HDTV, and the image is excellent. Better than S-Video quality by a long shot.

The only problem is these days is actually getting a laptop with a DVI-D port. The higher-end notebooks with a Go7800GTX, etc. normally have them though.

I have an I9300 and mine has it. Most of the upper level Nvidia cards seem to have them. :)
