    Is it correct that when you run a game in "Windowed Mode" you are only utilizing one core? The last two games that I have played, Mass Effect and Need for Speed Shift both freeze and crash unless I play in windowed mode. I do know that both 4870 cards in my W90 are functioning per 3dmark scores and that they are linked per GPU-Z. I am trying to figure out if this is a driver issue or hardware issue.

    From what I understand, CF only works in windowed mode if it's using DX10.

    Sounds like your real problem here is that playing in full mode causes crashes. I'd try and fix that first.
