    So i just started using steam since all my friends use it, and im a total noob at this.
    1) In my profile why don't non steam games show up under playing time?
    2) I have a retail copy of some games that were purchasable on steam, can i activate those on steam? For example i have street fighter 4 but it wont let me activate it on steam.

    1. non steam games dont show up, just the way it is.
    2. not all games can be activated through steam. some retails copies purchased in walmart for example, you can't link it with steam, but the same game purchased via steam you would be able to activate.

    last year, i bought cod4 from walmart and i realized you can't link it with steam. i just bought a copy that doesnt link with steam.
    but they did sell copies that were linkable with steam. so its just what you buy.
