Has anyone here tested x1600 128mb version and x1600 256mb version in real games instead of 3d mark? how about their performance in mid setting with 1024x768? Is there a big difference between them in real games like they do in 3d marks?

Another question, ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 128 MB (512 MB Hypermemory)
what does it really mean? 128mb on board memory and 512 shared?

    Cheers A

The 256mb X1600 is really worth it over the 128mb X1600.

    If your gonna get a 128mb X1600 anyways I would recommend rather to get a 7600 128mb.

Have you looked at Zepto's line of gaming notebooks? They start below 1000 Euro.
