    Specs for that game

    • 2GHz Processor
    • 512 MB RAM
    • 6 GB of hard drive space
    • NVIDIA GeForce 6100 or ATI Radeon 9500 or greater
    • Any onboard sound card

So I don't think a X300 card will work well, but you might get it to work.

But you should upgrade to something better... I mean the experiance is like 5x more if you play on mid-high to high settings. Really.

it depends on the motherboard, whether it has an older agp or a pci-e slot. most of the new mobos have pci-e but the older ones have agp. you can still get agp cards, but they are more expencive and have lower performance.(just check that last bit)

you areable to upgrade with a video card that is not from dell (do they make video cards?), but you will probably void the warranty

x300 is equivelent to 9300 if it was made, sortof.

    http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=94&card2=75

Although they don't have it listed, the x200 is equivelent to the 9200. Only two examples, but other ones are very close.

Once it hits x700/x800 they become much better then the 9700/9800 counterparts.

i'm planning to play it at
    1024x768, Medium Quality
gamespot says i'll get around 13 FPS is that smooth enough?

i'll just need to make my desktop last 1 more year till i get the qosmio. i originally planned to get it around june but ever since vista seems to be not supported by a lot of software right now (e.g. my internet ISP) i seems need to wait. and the qosmio only got 2gb of RAM and no LED backlight (which is very important) damn.....

    ....anyway back to the topic.

btw, any info on Kane limited edition, and where can i get it in Australia?

i installed C&C3 in my M90 and D620 just to see the difference. i was even able to play quite smoothly on the D620 which only has GMA950, but of course, the gameplay is not comparable to the M90. moreover, its playable, so dont worry if it wouldnt run smooth with your X300.

i got the Kane limited version, so far i dont think theres much difference between the limited version and the regular version, the limited edition will have more maps and some video clips. hope this helps.
