Just got these 2 awsome games along with Sins of a Solar Empire.

Im able to run Sins without the need to have the DVD in the drive, but BioShock and World in Conflict askes me to have the DVD in the drive.

Is there a way for me to play these games with out having to tote the DVD around with me? If not, Do you recommend me burning a copy of the DVD so that I keep the original in prestine condition in case I have to burn another one in the future if the 1st burn gets scratched or damaged.

    Thanks for your advice

If you can burn a backup disc and keep it on your hard drive then you gain the ability to preserve your DVD at the cost of HDD space. It's worthwhile if you notice game discs slowly wearing out or developing scratches if you're not careful placing and removing them from DVD drives.

You can download a fixed image of the game you want to play with no cd then mount it in a program like "daemon tools" and play away..

Go to gamecopyworld.com , click the appropriate mirror, on the right you will see a search bar, search for the game you want and add "fixed image" eg. "Bioshock fixed image" then download the image file.
Then download daemon tools, install, mount the image and play away ;)

Hope this isnt against the forum rules but as long as you own the games.. its legal.
