It depends on what games you want to play. It's good enough to play almost anything, but you won't exactly be running it all on ultra at 1080p.

Like I said, it will play, but you won't be running it at 1080p with everything on ultra.

A notebook with a i3 2330m and a gt 540m should at least d Battlefield on all low, since its not that bad.

Thanks, I was hoping for a low-med mix. I hope the gt540m could cut it

I got something thats better than a random benchmark.

VIDEO OF SIMILAR HARDWARE RUNNING BF3! xD
Nvidia GeForce GT 540M - Battlefield 3 Beta (A Quick Demonstration) - YouTube

The YouTube user made a video showing a Acer Travelmate 5742ZG running Battlefield 2 Open Beta.
    Notebook specs:
Intel Pentium P6100 (Not as high end as a i3 2330m)
    Nvidia Geforce GT 540m
2gb DDR3 memory but im guessing you got more in yours.

    Game settings:
    Resolution: 1366 x 768
    Settings: High preset
    Resulting FPS: 20 to 45

OP is fine, Battlefield 3 will run on low or even medium at decent framerate.
Might also push to high but much better to keep the minimum frames high.
