i have a hp dv6704nr and here are my specs....
AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 1.9ghz
2 GB Ram
Nvidia 7150m (128mb) dedicated
I can currently run Battlefield 2142 and Battlefield 2 demos and i am very happy with the results my pc deliver, i can play it very smooth with no lag on moderate settings
But i was wondering if i can play the Full version if i buy the game??....thnx

If you can play the demo, you can play the full game.

nice...thnx

Mmm... if you can play the demo smoothly, you should be able to play the full version smoothly. The 7150M isn't really a very good card, though. Can you load up a map with a swarm of AI players to test their strain on your notebook? You may experience some slowdown.

Really? I always remember the F.E.A.R. Demo had simpler textures than the original game. That was why I would be able to no shadows/Max/Medium out most things on the demo in my 9700Pro whereas in the original Id only be able to run it in Low/Med/rarely Max + no shadows.

Well, you could always modify the game settings to knock the detail level down, and achieve the same effect...

well i cant play with AI in BF 2142 demo because it is only online play and BF 2 has some AI and the game runs very smoothly including online....i heard a lot about people saying that 7150m is crap in gaming but i can play some pretty cool games in high performance.....ill end up buying BF2 considering it is funner than BF 2142....well c

Retail games generally run better than the demo because of patches that fix bugs and find shortcuts to make it easier for CPU/GPU etc.

cool....after playing the demo for BF2 for a few days,.....i went and bought the game today and all i have to say is AMAZING...the game runs so smoothly on my 7150m and the graphics are mad nice....very fun game

Nice to hear that all is fine. Once you've played BF2 a little and have had the chance to get familiar with it, I suggest you try Project Reality mod for BF2. It's the most realistic combat mod you'll find out there. Although I must warn you that the system requirements for Project Reality is a little higher than the original BF2. Anyways hers a link to the site: www.realitymod.com
