    Quick question about nVidia 560m GTX SLi

    would anyone happen to know if the 560m GTX SLi be able to play Skyrim well on ultra settings with everything turned up to max settings?

    The 560M in SLi is about 10% faster than a single 580M. I would say pretty close to ultra, but to really max the game out you would need SLi 580Ms.

    ...i...don't think to max it out you'd need THAT much power...i just haven't tried the 560m GTX in SLi to know though...

    need to know either 560m GTX SLi or single 6990m ATI would play skyrim on max...

    When I disable crossfire I get about 40-50 fps on Ultra everything with my 6990m. And that is with 11.10 drivers. There are newer more optimized drivers out that help performance more.

    Well guys really max it out I mean upping the AA and AF settings all the way through your driver settings... don't think you can do that on a single 6990M.

    Not bashing laptops at all but if you havent already purchased may i suggest a good future proof desktop that will max it out easily even with a single 560 ti and a decent laptop for your laptop needs :)

    i was actually looking to get this for someone else...and they want to try and see if the 560m GTX SLi would max out skyrim since they're wanting the sager 8180 notebook from xotic/malibal...haven't decided.
