I'm thinking about getting a laptop once again, and I have a couple quick questions about the 6400. First, is there any sign of cheapness on Dell's part? I realize they can be likened to the McDonald's of computers, so I want to make sure I'm getting a quality product. I've never heard of them selling people short but I figure this is the place to inquire! And then also does it have the mustard to handle Counterstrike: Source and World of Warcraft? Those are the two most advanced games I'd probably ever play on it.
And if you know, what about Doom 3? That's always a good game to judge how good a system is with gaming. Thanks.
Oh, and I was looking at going with this set up...

Well, I really like the look of the 6400. But a lot of people don't like the white bumpers, so may say it looks cheap. But it certainly doesn't feel cheap.
I have the same CPU, GPU and ram speed as that config, although only 1GB for now. I play CSS on 1280x800, highest settings w/out AA. And I get 35fps.
WoW, Im not sure about, but considering it looks good on a 200M, I'm sure this would run it no problems.
No idea about Doom 3 though. But F.E.A.R runs great at 1024x768 at medium settings. -
bump! I need more replies!
