    Even if you limit yourself to free downloadable mmorpgs, you can do so much better then runescape these days.

    I used to play it when I was a lot younger just because my parents wouldn't let me get everquest.

    I used to chop trees until a friend of mine called me a moron because mining was so much more profitable, then i went to mining, then became an archer and got rune stuff, then some guy offered me 40 bucks for my account so I gave it to him.

    That was like 3 years ago.

    I still remember how i managed to get 2 accounts logged in at the same time, and used one for muling. This was before banks and new lands and pay-for-play accounts. Hell, this was before adamantite Platemail. I've dropped in from time to times, but I haven't played for several years.
