    I'm becoming more and more short tempered with INQ,the register and the Fudzilla as I said earlier, they are turning into some form of tabloid IMO.

    100C is about the limit that silicon processes can withstand AFAIK...so I'm guessing that their facts are screwed up.

    I stopped reading those 'tabloids'...or at least stopped believing them.

    I wonder what they tested. Maybe a pre release version. Drivers have alot to do with heat. They need to turn of parts of the chip when not needed.

    I am disapointed with all the current graphics cards. If you compare the development of the CPU from the Pentium 4 to Pentium M to Core 2 Duo there is a huge improvment in the powerconsumption to processing power ratio. Why cant they do this for GPUs? They dont look very efficent to me. This generation of GPUs should have been desinged with power saving in mind.
    Maybe only Intel has the R&D budget to make great improvements. AMD is also far behind. Or maybe its the fight between ATI and Nvidia that is hurting us. It keeps prices low and forces short development cycles?
