Here's the results of one of my benchmarks with mismatched RAM timings.

while this particular benchmark completed successfully (subsequent runs did not) longer stress tests with the Heaven bench causes the system just shutdown and reboot and causing the GPU to not be detected.

Just wondering if mismatched RAM timings can cause this?

Only if one RAM stick is running at faster speed and/or timings that it was intended for.

OK, i ask because the stock samsung RAM has different timings to the Corsair RAM I now have. but the PC kept crashing at a 1300MHz+ but not when under 1300MHz. so just trying to see if i either hit the wall on the GPU or if the RAM is causing the PC to shutdown.
