My FPS for any given time is around 30-40, in 40 man raids about 28-35, and its at max resolution with most settings on high but some on mid, with no AA.

    I have a x700 GPU.

WoW plays on just about anything. Its just a matter of finding the right settings to make it seem playable in your eyes.

But my x700 plays it very similar to Coriolis'.

Hey lappy, how did you overclock your GF 7200? What was the 3DMark score before you Oc'ed? Thanks

Before it was 1508, and I OC'ED it to 1680 3DMarks. I think my orginal clocks were 400 Core, and 700 Memory. I OC'ED it to 450 Core and 750 Memory, and it gives a pretty good performance boost. I overclocked it, with a app such as Rivatuner, or a program such as Coolbits.

    Is Rivatuner or Coolbits better?

I don't know, I guess coolbits is better, because It also adds added functionality to the Nvidia Display control Panel, as well as giving you the option to overclock. Rivatuner, I would have to say, is more advanced.

I play WoW on my I9300 with a 6800Go and I have almost everything maxed out! And get an average of about 45-50FPS unless I am in a raid then it drops to about 40FPS. But I did OC my video card...for raids I use my desktop. Everything maxed and still get 60FPS! :)

I have a question I have a HP pavillion dv8000 and I currently have an ATI Radeon M200 GPU. My problem with this is when I run World of Warcraft I only get 22-25 FPS and I wanted to know if there was a way to up my FPS. I would really appriciate a response.

I get around 15-20fps at 1024*768 everything medium or high apart from draw distance (just under medium) and no AA or AF.

40 man raids - no idea. Guessing maybe 10fps.

I also sometimes play with a 1024*640 widescreen window so if people msn me i can know about it! Runs exactly the same windowed as far as i can see!

to check FPS I use the Addon Titan panel which you can down load from curse-gaming.com.

CTRL+R works just as well in the game, no addon needed.

    Tested WoW on my sister's Vaio C-140G laptop: Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 120GB 5400RPM HD, and... 128MB Intel GMA 950.

Ran around on a new server for fun as a night elf, there were like 20 people around (a lot for a starter town I guess), I got between 15-25 FPS @ 1280x800 resolution, texture on high, view distance @ 50%. Not bad, though turning on the "post-processing" or "bloom" effects really killed the FPS, not too much. I recommend not turning on vsync and triple buffering. I'm going to wait until my friend gets here and let him run around the bigger populated Horde towns and see how that goes. I am impressed so far...
