So... I just thought about this... but... has anyone ever tried to really overclock a laptop?
As in:
-Adding cooling to it (liquid nitrogen, dry ice etc...)
-Put cooling block through it...
-Overclocking the FSB, CPU, GPU, RAM, maybe even HDD and PPU
-Making the laptop "non portable" to achieve blistering speeds...
I mean... a desktop is not made to be moved... but you just unplug it and move it... an insane overclocked one with pipes, tubes, negative temps, fan, blocks whatever.... are like... vegetating in one place and require hours to move...
So...?

why?......

Because I was looking it up and found NOTHING

Go buy a desktop if you want that kind of cooling. The best most laptop users can achieve is with a notebook cooler and new thermal paste.
Considering the OP's distinct reluctance to actually browse other forums on this site and inherent ADD when reading text more than a few lines long, I've taken the liberty of posting this thread which explains how people keep their laptops cool for reasons other than overclocking. Link
This article from NBR explains the importance of temperatures, useful for overclocking purposes. Link
Of course if this post gets ignored I wouldn't be too surprised either.
