also wile gaming i use rivatuner to monitor gpu temp's and fps... is it a really bad idea to run both rm clock and rivatuner at the sametime?? i'm a noob in these applications..so any help will be greatly appreciated..

Nope it won't be a problem. I run both and I am able to play CoD4 fine. Sometimes I even have other programs running in the background like Firefox, iTunes or an IM client. As long as you have enough ram to go around it shouldn't be a problem.
