    Hi all,

I'm deciding between those two graphics cards but I'm a little bit confused.

2070 Max-Q is more expensive (around 200$) but searching for benchmarks and specs I found that sometimes 2060 Laptop beats 2070 Max-Q. In others test 2070 wins but only by a minimal difference.

Whats happening? I was expecting around a 15-20% performance increase from 2060 Laptop to 2070 Max-Q guided by the price but it seems incorrect.

Should I better stay with a 2060 over a 2070 and save 200$? Or you expect some magic improvements in the future only related to 2070?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

Nvidia messed up the naming. 2060 and 2070 mq are basically equivalent, as are 2070 and 2080mq. If you need thin and light get the mq, otherwise stay far away.

If it's the Blade 15 Advanced you're looking at you might be better off with the 2070 Max-Q as that unit is a little heavier and I have a strong suspicion that they made the heat management solution a little beefier. I've seen two reviews that say the fan noise on the 2070 Max-Q is much quieter than the previous 1070 Max-Q unit.
