Title pretty much explains it. I got a racing game, which is similar to Mario Kart called Sonic All Star Racing. But it uses stupid controls and theres no option to change the controls.

I like using my xbox controller with games on my laptop. So I was wondering, is there a programme to trick my computer into thinking it's pressing keyboard letters (For example 'B', which accelerates) when really i'm just pressing X on my xbox controller.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks.

all i have to do is plug mine in and it works perfect. Most games (I have played anyway) allow you to change the game controls
