    HOWDY!

I have a radeon xpress 200m and I am wanting to use my tv as a second monitor when watching movies. My tv's native solution is 1360x768; my 200m does not have that resolution specifically. I have upgraded my drivers and all and I am simply wondering if it is possible to make the 200m display it manually or am i just stuck with what i got?

    Many Thanks

p.s. love the forums A LOT OF HELP when i went looking for my laptop.

I think that you can force a resolution in the Catalyst Control Center, there is a setting (going from memory, I'm on work computer) that allows it to force TV detection when a TV is connected and/or recognized.

Yeah I tried to do that with the control center but in the force options it was still the same options as i could use before 1280x768 -> 1280x1024 -> 1400x1050

Did you uncheck the box at the bottom that says use EDID for devices? If you uncheck it I believe it will give you all the resolutions availabe, both standard and ws, then you can change the device (is must be hooked up) to use those settings.

Is the Radeon 200m dedicated? or integrated?
