Hi there, my friend has recently bought a new pc and the graphics card he chose was a Powercolor 4870 1GB.

Unfortunatly, upon starting the card fails to do anything, showing 3 red led's.

Now being the canny chaps that we are,we check which led's they were and referenced google. They were; D1602, D1601 and D1603. According to google (and more specifically some other forum) this means that there is an issue with the power.

We tried running all different configurations of power supply, but the result was that we could get no change to the led's, even with nothing plugged in at all.

Is there any way that this can be fixed? Or is it a case of sending it back to Ebuyer?

    Cheers,

    Matt
