    285XT can be interesting but what's up with 2Gb 256bit 285Pro? Tahiti cards had 3Gb 384bit and they overclocked like hell. I guess AMD is aiming more performance per watt...

    Honestly I'm hesitant to go back to AMD regardless of their offerings. I was a firm supporter of them since their 4800 series desktop cards but after purchasing a 780ti the quality of the drivers is an extremely stark contrast.

    I still have a sneaky suspicioun we wont get any hard numbers. Rather some ambiguous "1.5 x This performance" for the desktop with no mention of the mobile part.

    Hopefully we'll see enough to make some educated calculations but untill we see some leaks and benchies its still theorycrafting.

    20nm = fail... Seriously, Intel are so far ahead of anyone else in the tech industry having 14nm. I really hope its on 20nm but I bet its on 28nm like 750 Ti then 20nm will be R9 3xx next year...sigh

    Even worse show than the previous Nvidia show where we thought we would see new Maxwell cards. Instead it was about Tegra 4 and freaking cars with that chip.

    All existing GCN GPUs are already DX12 compatible. That was already confirmed back at the DX12 reveal.

    Im actually very disappointed.

    R9 280X: 2048 cores, 250W TDP
    R9 285: 1792 cores, 190W TDP
    Same architecture, not even remotely touching Maxwell in efficiency. In fact, I cant see any efficiency gain over existing cards.

    Since 7870 was a 170W TDP card, I think this settles it. R9 M295X will have 28CUs for sure and they will be heavy downclocked. Not 32 CUs.
    And I think it will run hot like GTX 880M.

    What the hell?!

    Surely can't be full tonga with a 250W TDP to cut down! I agree with you cloud, this is AMD better late than never response to the 880M.
    How disappointing. I hope we are proven wrong but I don't regret selling my 7970M and jumping over to NVidia after that waste of time...

    980M Maxwell will wipe the floor and be ridiculously expensive as usual. Thanks AMD.
