Hi newbie to this forum here.

Does the Radeon X1100 support TnL?

The one in this Asus computer:

    w w w.onlinecomputer.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=835

I'm asking specifically, because I play Combat Arms and it requires TnL to play.

Flaming notice: I've used 1 hour to search if this inbuilt chip supports TnL or not, but with no avail.

All help or comments is greatly appreciated by all!

    Thanks for helping this noob.

It does. It will run everything horribly, but it does. I has an Acer with that card in it and it ran AOE3 well, at 1280 x 800, but everything was set to very low settings. But Because it has T&L it lets you play MANY more games than the Intel GMA 950... dang I wish my netbook had the 1100!!! :p

:} On that laptop I did not. But AOE3 is a very detailed game, during big battle scene's it lagged some, especially when using LAN. I actually had 2 Acers with that card, one had 256 MB dedicated memory and the other snagged memory from my RAM. The one stealing my RAM was rated better by windows Vista, and got a better score on 3DMark06... Sorry I can't help you with the FPS question, but same as with AOE3, I think it'd run fine, just on very low settings.

PS: skimp on the shadows, they overwhelm the Radeon 1100 VERY easily.
