    just seen this and thought it was worth a shout.

    first rainbow six game i played was rainbow six vegas 2 and loved it so bought the full package of veges and ghost recon but didnt think much to them so hoping this one will get back on track.

    anyone else looking forward to this?

    this was the 3rd real game i ever played after crysis and half life and its a great game.
    1 and all the spin off's arent that good but vegas 2 is brill.
    takes a while to get used too it compared to cod and battlefied but well worth it.

    The only problem I can think of with Rainbow Six Seige (from the E3 2014 trailer) is the fact that it would be extremely boring without people to play with.

    Hopefully they do have a nice campaign, as HTWingNut mentioned above.

    Yeah, I've never played any of them. I used to be a big Call of Duty fan back in the day. Now it's all about Battlefield.

    Earlier Tom Clancy tactical shooters were first and foremost about the single-player campaign; I hope this continues the trend instead of doing the CoD/BF "oh, we have a joke of a campaign, but the core game is multiplayer."

    I've got fond memories of Rainbow Six (the original), Ghost Recon (the original, Desert Siege, and Island Thunder), and Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, so I have high hopes for this.

    And the trailer looks awesome.

    Is this the only R6 game that doesn't bear the Tom Clancy name?

    I admit the trailer is awesome but it strikes me odd :p

    That kind of gameplay/teamwork never happens in actual public match.
    Mostly ends with 30 secs.

    But the reintroduction of random insertion (limited but better than the previous version) is a nice add.

    ------

    And .... the really bad netcode + bad hitbox + laggy UI for an E3 showcase irks me. Don't know if this is the first E3 trailer ever shown as blatantly buggy

    i loved the first R6 and liked R6 2, but the mp is where all the fun is at, the sp mode was never the best, but it wasnt horrible either. R6 mp is by far my favorite i could never get into COD mp, BF mp is ok.
    i think they probably rebadged Patriots with Siege, they had showed it in a previous E3
