None of these games are pirated.

A couple nights ago I went nuts, decided, I have 650 gigs of space, why not use it? And put most of my current collection on it.

And why would I pirate Space Colony? Ski Resort Extreme? Tomb Raider Chronicles? Where would I find Heretic 2? Rainbow Six 1?

These are all real, from the cd, and all working in Vista (!!).

BTW, I still have to add:

    Area 51
    Serious Sam: The Second Encounter
    Max Payne
    Head Coach
    Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow
    Breed
    Scrapland
    Worldwar 2 Frontline Command
    Call of Duty 2
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
    Painkiller Gold Edition
    Project: Snowblind
    Theif: Deadly Shadows
    Dreamfall
    The Longest Journey
    Jade Empire
    Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines

So it'll end up ALOT bigger.

    Anyway, here it is.

Not bad, but not too amazing. To give you a comparison, here's my games folder on my desktop - or rather, some of it. I didn't have space to open every subfolder, although some only have the single- and mullti-player for the game in them (FEAR and Dark Messiah, for example). And no, that's not even everything I have installed, much less everything I have laying around on disc somewhere.

Heh. I just wanted rating because I got so many games to work.

I have over 250 dos games, not that they would work in Vista. I also have other 95/98/xp games, which don't work... Then I have 56 steam games, half of which don't appear in games explorer... :(

But nontheless, I've somehow gotten so many older games to work..

Let's not compare how many games we have. I just wanted to be rated based on strength of gaming, and I wanted to show it off since I've gotten so many old games to somehow work in Vista.

I'm still trying to get Pro race driver and area 51 to even install... may hafta copy the contents to a usb device and use the usb device as a cd drive....

BTW, good collection. Very nice collection of games. It makes me wish I could put my Sierra Quest games and The Beast Within on Vista :(

You wanna know the worst part of all :(

    All I play is...

    The Sims 2
    Oblivion
    Jade Empire...
    Deus Ex...

That's about it. Maybe a new game every so often.

I actually have this huge ass collection because I have a group of friends who come over every so often and we tend to play on my pc. If you'll notice, I have everything, from every genre. it's as if I'm trying to please everyone... Which I am.

I condemn both of you for not having any Monkey Island Or Heroes of might and magic. I have 3 games installed, Oblivion, Heroes of Might and Magic III and Curse of monkey Island. Hmmm...I should find the rest of my Heroes games (1-5 baby, yeah)

    But otherwise it was cool

Edit: And if you want to tun old Dos-games check out DOSbox and SCUMM-VM. I'm not sure if they work with vista, but if (or when) they'll help run old games.

If I'm not mistaken -- if you have Vista Ultimate or Vista Business you can run DOS/Win95/Win98/Linux/etc in Virtual Machine :)

Regarding your collection -- pretty impressive!
