same here. tried Farcry2 but put off by the unlimited respawning of enemies. now playing Fallout3 and Burnout Paradise. both are very nice. except the lack of option menu in Burnout. have to use alt + F4 to quit it every time

 

i play mostly new games but strangely enough the last game i beat was CoD. Pretty epic especially the stalingrad invasion. 9.7/10

 

Race Driver: Grid - 9.0/10

 

FEAR 2: 7.0/10. I did a review on it and I was very disappointed.

 

resistance 2: 8.0/10
decent story, but otherwise just another shooter. i didnt like what happened at the end though...

call of duty 5: 9.25/10
granted there was only 1 tank level, but the entire game just felt kind of...epic. forcing my way through the streets of berlin....fighting the japanese at shuri castle...kind of gratifying.

 

Left 4 Dead: Gameplay 8/10

Awesome game however there were no 'modes' really, just make it to safe house and game done. Granted that was epic in itself but they should've added modes similar to Nazi Zombies from World at War or Zombie escape from CS:S.

 

Fallout 3 (w/ anchorage...) 8/10 I was expected better
--> Nice but very repetitive and was up with the ending...

Witcher special ed 10/10 best game ever, so quite difficult to start cuz of the fighting system, should give it 9/10 cuzz did get the moonblade (

Force unleashed (360) 7/10

Fable 2 (360) 9/10
Funny but too easy to switch from being good to bad at the end to get all items

Crysis warhead 7/10 way to short and boring still pref the first one

Drop quickly before the end: GTA IV (pc and 360), L4D (people stop using source engine...), king bounty, NW2....
I forgot Farcry 2: what a joke...

Working on dead space and nfs undercover while waiting for drakensang or dragon age

 

Final fantasy 2 10/10 (beat it a few days ago, again )

and a few days before that Fear 2, which was a ton of fun, but a tad short, I'd say 7.5/10 due to that fact that it's both short and a game that would be boring a second run because you'd be able to predict EVERYTHING that's going to happen, and that just kills the fun doesn't it?

 

Beyond Good and Evil: 9/10 considering the price I paid. Didn't get all of the extras in the run-through though.

 

dead space 9.9/10 superb gameplay and suspense....going to impossible mode...
left 4 dead 8.5/10 not too bad,just need more teamwork....

 

Star Wars Republic Commando 9/10. Just too short and the ending is not so good, lack some "jedi thing" but it's not a big problem since it's an almost perfect shooter.

 

Skate 2(X360) 9/10 Great skateboarding game if you are into it
Oh and i beat FF9 a few days ago as well that gets a 10/10 for sure.

Fallout 8/10

80 hours to complete basically everything, then it just got boring lol. This game is all about the weapons and mercilessly destroying everything IMO, then it's the quests, which are pretty good, but there's not enough of em.

Oh and I suppose L4D was the quickest game completion I've ever done, but it's so replayable and I'm a fan of co-op... 9/10

 

I'll throw in Left 4 Dead as well. 8/10

I would rate it higher, except the online matching system is absolute garbage. It's very frustrating when you can't use a service you paid for. Steam really needs to get working on fixing it. I don't play very often anymore since every time I do, I end up getting very upset when the matching system continuously fails.

 

left 4 dead has all the money, but it's matchmaking system is horrible. and my friends and i became God tier in that game, almost making it not worth waiting around to play and dominate every game, however, we manage to make it very fun.

8/10 good graphics even on my 8600m gs. good gameplay, but too easy(on normal).

Mass Effect : 9/10 , i gave it 9 on 10 only because it too short , i mean i completed the game and side game within 14-15 hour of play , but i just discover there's a expension (Bring down the Sky) wich should give me 1 hour and half more of playing ..

This game was really good otherwise , love the game play , graphics , and suited my style very well , i would recommend it to anyone ..

My next game im planning to try is Fear 2 or Dead Space

Would have been a 10 had it not been for the dog sh__ ending, lol.

 

Drakensang: The Dark Eye, Demo Fantasy RPG 8.5/10

The U.S. retail version is available in stores tomorrow. I'll make a new assessment after I finish it.

It really is a nice game...very similar to NWN2, Baldur's Gate series, etc. but with much better graphics.

The only part I really didn't like was the fact that in most situations, VO was only done on first part dialogue with each NPC interaction. Everything else is text. At least in the demo. May not have finished English translation...may be better in retail.

Gears of War II - 6.8 / 10 (Co-op)

Anyone else feel that the game just wasn't as epic as the developers were making out to be beforehand? The storyline was definitely a steaming pile of **** even though they said they focused strongly on the narrative points so it would be better. Not that you'd expect Shakespeare from GOW.
But the worst is the level involving the 'worm'. Annoying timer puzzles that kill if you mess up are not my forte (or the persons I was playing with for that matter) and ended up being irrating on more than the single occasion.

But it all can't be that bad if it gets such as a score. The gameplay shows a wealthy development from the first (tagging mines - brilliant) and it has a fairly good replay value. Plus how can you not love the antics of the Coletrain?

Great fun, just don't fall for any hype.

A few nagging issues keep it from being a 9/10 game for me.
