I only just discovered the thread but it was closed, how do you make a quadro install as a geforce, I tried it by following the instructions with my FX 3700M, i tried installing it as a 9800M GTX, it showed up in device manager as a 9800M GTX but when I went to the nvidia control panel it still had the quadro profiles for 3d apps, what did I do wrong?

Just use nvidia inspector.. Or try to add manually a game: it should appear the geforce profile if any automatically.

I tried to do this mod with my m860tu/fx3700... I tried doing both a 280m, and 9800m gtx profile/driver, but it still shows up as a 3700m...

    any suggestions??
