An Asus notebook. This has an extreme CPU by Intel along with an 8600 (that's DDR3 for you Dell fans out there!) and even HDMI along with 1920x1200 resolution and a Blu Ray Player. I think it has Vista Ultimate too as a bonus.

Great package overall by Asus. Finally a PC maker is getting it right and giving everything consumers might want rather than one part here or another part in another model.

It's an awful lot of money though. For the same amount you can get the Sager NP5791 or even the NP9261 which have far better gaming performance, even with base specifications.
The Extreme processor is definitely faster than the regular Core 2 Duos but the difference is probably not noticeable and certainly not worth a few hundred dollars. :) Also, the X7800 has since been replaced by the X7900.

    ???
I dont know, but for over 3k $$ id expect nothing less than a 8700 sli or so with a full keyboard. And a 2.0megapixel cam :)
    Way overpriced imo.

    I don't think you'll get an 8700 SLI for under $4k ;) Maybe.

You're paying for HD here too remember. Blu Ray drive. A nice bonus. A Blu Ray 1720 by Dell would run you nearly $2500 anyway.
