As the title tells, I look for good but short games to play, as my time is limited and I have now a bit vacation and would want to finish some games. I did open this topic, as I have a very long list and can't decide with what to begin. Please only consider the single-player part, as for mp I have other games to play.

    Steam Community :: Chazy90 :: Games

Out of my list of games, Sleeping Dogs is the only game that I've finished. :(

A list with a few games that can be finished under 10 hours in SP for a medium skilled gamer would be very helpful!

    EDIT: Under 10 hours.

That's every game released today other than the few RPG games like Witcher 2/DA:O etc.

Yeah well I finished Sleeping Dogs in almost 20 hours.
Ok than I would say games that can be finished in under 10 hours. I've edited my initial post.
I mean games that could be finished in one day, when you have time to play it almost all day long.

Any FPS/TPS out there. Torchlight 2 maybe? Really any RPG if you don't do any side quests. You can even do BL2 in a day if you ONLY did the main quest line, aka beat the game.

Personally I'd recommend Spec-Ops: The Line, just finished it yesterday, was very good. A hint if you play, you don't have to do what the game suggests. It's not COD, you won't fail the mission if you choose to not to.

Metro 2033, Alan Wake. Could probably squeeze HL2 in there too.

    Play Spec Ops: The Line.

It looks like a regular military shooter, but it's... not. It makes you think. I recommend playing through it in as few sittings as possible.

Portal 2 is a must have. amazing story line and good graphics. I wish I could forget everything about that game and do it again.

+1 to that. Bulletstorm is very enjoyable, just fun. It's mindless, but fun. I never get tired of flinging enemies into giant cactus and spikes.

Serious Sam and Bulletstorm, brainless fun

Bulletstorm definitely. Fun romp. I really enjoyed Modern Warfare 1 & 2 single player games. Short but fun.

Half-Life 2 is great too, and the two episodes.

Thanks to all for the advices. I started playing Spec Ops The Line and because I started playing the game kind of late, I only got to to the end of Chapter 10 ( googled it and there are apparently 15 ) so I'm almost 70% through the game. I wan't to finish the game tomorrow early on, to get to the next one. :D
I'm not very sure about the next game, but Spec Ops is a good game, even I must say that the story isn't that great as all the people talked about. I mean yes, for a shooter it's very good, but I wasn't blown away by it. Maybe this still happens till the end of the game.

Walking Dead is a pretty good game, and you can do one or two episodes at a time.

I typically never finish games but the Halo series and Bullet Storm were my exceptions.

So I just finished Spec Ops The Line and it took me 7.0 hours. I was surprised by the story in the end and I will definitely will play this game again some time. So I must say that I didn't regret at all my choice and in chapters at the end the game got better.

I would recommend Mafia 2...it will take more than 10 hours (around 12 or so) but it is a very focused story-driven atmosphere heavy game. It's also pretty easy to pickup.
