    Howdy y'all,

I FINALLY got a laptop and now i'm fixing to go on a little road trip, unfortunately i'm not driving so I have to make the time go by faster, so i'm looking for an RPG/Adventure/Action game i can play.... I don't nessecarily want a game that looks great graphically, in fact my computer doesn't have much of a graphics card in it (just the stock one, i believe it is intel(R) Graphics media accelerator for mobile, if that helps) anyway, i was playing some of the game demos that came with my computer and stumbled upon a game called "Fate" by wildtangent (which i have now learned is spyware)....

anyway, i really liked this game, i have already played diablo 1 and 2 (which seems like where the concept for this game was taken from), and i was wondering if y'all can recommend a game, preferrably freeware or something, i can download and put on my computer, as i don't have much money left over from my purchase of a laptop.... :(

I know there has to be games out there but i have dial-up still and googling stuff and attempting to sort through the bs isn't proving to be worth it so i figured since y'all helped me find a laptop this would be the place to go for a question such as this...

thanks for your time and help,
    you guys rock
    Josh-

You'd probably like Icewind Dale or Morrowwind. They're a bit old, so you could probably pick them up for cheap.

KoToR I & II will probably run, just not on high settings.
If you like D&D try Icewind Dale or Baldurs Gate. Those will run without any problems.

I highly recommend bladurs gate I and II and TOB, especially if you're interested in captivating story lines. Hours and hours of replay value right there and you can get them for cheap these days. Kotor I was also a great game, and imho better then kotor 2. Plus kotor 2 is still retailing for like 25 so if you're on a tight budget don't bother getting it.

I'll second/third the recommendations for the SW:KoToR series. Two of the best games I've ever played. The end of the 2nd one could have been better, but it was still an excellent game.
I plan on playing one or both of them again when my new laptop gets here.

The first one is 3 years old now, and should run decent on internal graphics.

Try to see if you can't find Vampire The Masquarade:Redemption.
It's a very good rpg game and it will run on your system. Just don't get Bloodlines, because it doesn't run on an Intel card.
Also another intresting rpg game is Demon Stone and it will run on an Intel Graphics card.
